Silent printing is not available in Silverlight, apart from working around it by using COM in an OOB app requiring elevated permissions (see this implementation for example). Since there are to many limitations and specific requirements for such implementation, it was decided not to implement it in Document Toolkit.

Ok,

thank's for your answer!

In Silverlight 5 exists a print method overload  where you can specify to use the default printer without showing a print dialog (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh390300(v=vs.95).aspx).

You're absolutely right, I wasn't aware of this overload. I'll add a property to the DocumentPrinter that enables the use of the default printer (only in OOB and elevated permisssions). Available in the next Document Toolkit update

Thanks!
